What time does the race start?

Pack collection begins at 07:45. The race starts at 9am at the top Zoo car park and the runners will run through the Zoo gates. The race finishes at the Lions Den cafe. There is a cut off time of 1 hour to allow for the Zoo to resume normal operation.

Online registration is preferred there may be registration on the day or at pre-announced events depending on demand. Please arrive in plenty of time to allow for this.

What are the parking facilities at this event?

There is free parking at Belfast Zoo Car Park but this is limited to around 350 spaces. We would encourage car share/public transport where possible. The 1e bus from Belfast Upper Queen street at 07:40 will get you to the Zoo for 08:12

There will be 4 portaloos available at registration area and limited access to the toilets at the Zoo reception.

There will be no water stations oon the couse. Canned water will be availabe at the finishing arena at the Lions Den cafe.

This is a unique course with many turns and we have marshal positions all round the course to provide direction. For this reason and also having so much to see and hear on the way round, we are discouraging runners from using headphones/earphones/earbuds. However if you must, only bone conducting earphones are permitted for this race.
